Foreclosure Activity Jumps 81% in 2008
One out of every 54 houses saw some type of foreclosure activity during 2008, a number that's up 225% from just 2 short years ago.
James J. Saccacio, chief executive officer of RealtyTrac who produced this reports, says, "Clearly the foreclosure prevention programs implemented to date have not had any real success in slowing down this foreclosure tsunami."
Needless to say, we're definitely in a stretch of trouble right now, which makes it all the more important to have a sound financial strategy in place.
