In Life- Know what you want!!

Often during conversations with fellow entrepreneurs I will ask them what they intend to accomplish with their business. Then I notice the distant stare as they search in their mind for an answer they have never thought of.

The quote from Napoleon Hill is very powerful and should be considered with every goal we set in our lives and for our business. In life we must set our goals to a specific accomplishment with reachable levels of success. I have a secret to tell you, the goal of "I want to be rich" isn't going to make you rich. True success comes from a specific desire for a level of accomplishment, with steps on how to get there. An example of proper goal setting would be the following: Goal-Reach $100,000 bench mark. Plan to obtain goal: Sell 1,000 memberships at $100 per membership in the next 6 months. I will make 20 marketing calls per week.

Remember to write down your goals and review them often.

Some questions to consider when setting goals:

1) What is important to you?

2) What is the purpose of your business?

3) What do you want to do with your life?

4) Do you desire more time or more money?

5) What is the 'core value' of your life and business?
